Ministry focus for 2008

Dear reader of my weblog,

I recently mailed our supporters a concise overview of our focus for 2008. We're engaged in three areas of ministry:

1. Chronicling Acts in our time

We publish Joel News International, a leading e-zine on prayer, revival, frontline missions, saturation church planting and community transformation. We serve the worldwide church with encouraging and reliable news stories about what God is doing and how his Kingdom is advancing in many nations. Over the years we've seen that Joel News has been used by God as a seed of hope. Encouraging, live-giving stories stir hope, but also help people to enter into a new paradigm of the Kingdom that is real and advancing, drawing them in the adventurous journey of following Christ.

2. Simple/organic church planting movements

We help initiate and strategically develop simple/organic church planting networks in Europe. We long to see a church, a vibrant family of Jesus, within close reach of every person in Europe, and want to foster friendship, strategic planning and synergy among simple church pioneers, trainers and network facilitators, while also developing simple ways to train people, multiply groups, and monitor progress.

3. Emerging visionaries and pioneers

We serve Connect Europe, a friendship-based movement and 'learning community' that links around 200 emerging visionaries and pioneers in 20 nations around Jesus and the passion to start and shape new movements of prayer, justice, community and missions throughout the continent.

If this resonates with you and you would be interested to partner with us in this effort, then consider supporting us in prayer and/or financially. It is possible to use the Joel News donations page, but make sure you mention 'personal support' or 'ministry projects', so we can book your donation accordingly.

Blessings!

Marc
