Our great leader

In the run-up to the elections, GeenStijl weblog published a photoshopped picture of our Prime Minister Jan-Peter Balkenende as a Mao-style 'great leader', while youthful Christian-Democrats printed T-shirts with their hero Che Balkenende. Does this express a latent longing for revolutionaries?

Dutch humour is second best to South African. :)
I wish we did something like that here, instead of devouring each other alive. Let's hope this weekend is over soooooooooon, very soooooooon. We are '56-ing, in our self-destructive Hungarian style. http://www.ivan-herman.net/WebLog/Private/Magyar/hollandPelda.html - this post (In Hungarian, sorry) is praising your electoral preps - with budget plans submitted in advance and supervised. We over here only promise stuff that noone can fulfill...
