Jan Marijnissen, the leader of the Socialist Party, visited the EO Youth Day in the Gelredome stadium in Arnhem, and was impressed with 32,000 praying, singing and dancing Christian teenagers. "I've always wanted to visit this event, and I was excited about the quality of the program and the atmosphere."
Of course the EO Youth Day and the Socialist Party have something in common: a strong grassroots involvement - they connect very well with their constituency and are able to moblise them around specific issues.
