Soul Survivor revisited
The festival is over - 3,000 young people packed their tents and returned home, and the Soul Survivor team looks blessed but tired. The day-after there is traditionally a breakfast in the Mercury Hotel with the team and 'board of advisors'.
We evaluated the festival and it was encouraging to hear that the young people were so eager to move out in servant evangelism and bringing justice to the poor and oppressed. Other subjects were a leadership training the team is developing, a coaching structure, communications, organisation, missions and finances. And Mike Pilavachi was humorously dry as ever.
We zijn even een dagje langs geweest bij onze jeugdgroep en wat mij bemoedigde wat dat de focus naar de wereld gegroeid is. Niet zo zeer: Bless me Lord, but, Send me Lord!
En dat vind ik zeer positief!
