I wannabe a leader!
Visie's Ronald Koops is one of my favorite columnists. He has the gift to lightheartedly address all kinds of issues. In one of his latest columns he admits: "Sometimes I'd want to be a spiritual leader. An important one, you know. A guy that everyone knows, who has contacts everwhere and who is allowed to go to all kinds of important leaders' meetings."

Then he sums up a number of advantages of being a spiritual leader, culminating in "the greatest thing is that they only have success and never make mistakes. Where they preach, churches grow. Where they meet, miracles happen. They appear with big smiles in full-colour brochures. Their names are listed in important boards of reference."
And the conclusion: "Sometimes I get a bit fed-up with the terms 'spiritual leaders' and 'leadership conferences'. How about starting to serve each other again?"
