Come, Holy Spirit

It's Pentecost. We told the kids the story of Jesus' ascension and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. To help them process it we did a simple role play. David wanted to play Jesus. Peter said he wanted to be Caleb, but that was of course another story. So he ended up being God, hiding behind the curtain in an imaginative heaven. At the actual moment of ascension David also disappeared behind the curtain, and somehow, noticing the activity going on, Jesus and God ended up fighting in heaven. Happily, the Holy Spirit in the guise of Karolien, appeared on stage and saved the situation. We ended up blessing each other with the Holy Spirit.
