Young people and church
Today several phone calls and e-mails with friends in the Connect Europe network. Ronald called me discuss a questionnaire on young people and the church. It will be handed out to the 3,000 young people who come to the Soul Survivor festival in two weeks time. Hopefully it will give us a better insight in how young people think about the church and to what extent they are ready to plant new churches.
Together with another friend, Jan Bernard Struik, who oversees the Vineyard churches in the Benelux, Ronald will moderate a seminar on churchplanting during the Soul Survivor festival. I planned to be there as well, but I can't because the guys and two ladies of the DAWN European Network decided to come to Holland to have a team training session on the same dates.
On 14 May I plan to have an 'open house' meeting for young people who want to discuss the topics of 'church as Jesus intended it' and 'starting new churches'. Just drop me an e-mail if you are under 30 and interested to come.
