Bridge builders

Met up with Peter Kos and Carol van Wieren to prepare a one-day leaders retreat, planned for June 4. The aim is two-fold: to build friendship among pastors and ministry leaders in Utrecht, and to grow in a common understanding of God's calling on the church to bring Life to the city.

On my way to the office (45 minutes by bycicle) I crossed the new Prince Claus Bridge that connects Utrecht to Leidsche Rijn. It's not so much a hallmark as the Erasmus Bridge in Rotterdam, but it comes close. It reminded me of God's desire to connect the church. He's looking for bridge builders.
