Throw down your crowns

Just finished a one-and-a-half day retreat with Chris Daza for prophets and prophetic intercessors in the Netherlands. We spent a good time in God's presence and shared words and impressions. In small groups we talked in-depth about three questions, that helped us to get a better understanding of our corporate responsibility:

1. What happens to a nation if the level of the prophetic is low?
2. What is the role of prophets in a nation?
3. What is the relationship between prophets and apostles?

Many good things came up. But the most significant moment was when God led us to throw down our crowns at the cross. Humility and the heart of God are key for any ministry, but especially the prophetic, and form a protection against presumpteousness.
